The Bison trail opened in November 2001. The Bison Trail provides a vital link for trail users from Van Dorn Park out to Pioneer Park. The trail takes users off busy roads, under the Highway 77 by-pass bridges, and along the Hayes Branch Creek to the bison at Pioneer Park’s east entrance.
