Plan now for Summer Cycling Events!

Plan now for Summer 2008 cycling events.  Ride in the Lincoln Journal-Star Trail Trek on Sunday June 22, MS 2-Day bike ride on July 5-6, Bike to Boyer on July 12, Cornhusker State Games cycling tour on July 26 or the Kool Aid Classic in Hastings on Aug. 9. See schedule below for details.

Trail Project 2008 Updates !

MoPac West  -  Awaiting Federal right-of-way review and approval. Anticipating awarding of contract and construction in 2008.

Jamaica North  - Construction on a new sewer line is in progress between Pioneers and Old Cheney. This project is expected to be completed by early fall 2008.  Please use the crushed limestone detour provided through Wilderness Park.

Homestead -  Open to Princeton.

Antelope Creek, Phase II - Continuing along Antelope Creek from Pine Lake to Highway 2, this project should get underway by Summer 2008. Financing for the project comes from area development funds.

27th Street Bridge - Contract agreement reached allowing the hiring of The Schemmers Associates to design the project.
